Exhausted
Elijah is doing much better. He's still having trouble doing stuff like going to the bathroom, etc. but he's getting there. He's sleeping with me at night right now because I don't want him falling out of bed in his room. After our sleepless night in the hospital we have slept like rocks the last two nights but I'm still waking up totally exhausted. Maybe it's just the stress of the whole thing.
He was well enough to play on the computer yesterday, ha!

Oh my, I guess an event like this would make you exhausted. Physically and emotionally. Having only a daughter the first ten years of parenthood, adopting our older three sons (all at once) just about did me in. I wanted to roll them in bubble wrap and tie them to a tree, rather than let them climb it. But, after a few months, I let the warrior in them take over.
May healing come quickly for Elijah, and rest for you!
so sorry I fell on the sidewalk and broke my arm and shoulder two years ago now.
I feel for him.
Poor little guy! I am so very sorry Beth.
@WildWomanOfTheWest - Thanks! One of my goals for him after he's all healed up, is to get back in the tree. I sort of think it's like riding horses, you know? You gotta get back on after being thrown. He's climbed that thing a zillion times with no accident til now.
@Texasjillcarmel - I remember that! He seems to be coming along now.
aww, poor guy! he still looks totally cute though! and i can understand why you would be exhausted. i'm feeling that way right this minute and nothing dramatic or anything causing sleep deprivation has occurred!
Poor kid!!! Sorry to hear you guys are going through this. Hope he is back on his feet (and in the tree lol) again soon!
You're right, that cast at the elbow is HUGE! How does that little guy lug that arm around?? Hopefully you can do lots of resting this weekend! I agree with you getting him back in the tree!!!
Prayer for him (and you).
oh my!! I somehow missed what happened. I'll go back to read up. I can imagine you are tired. Hope all is going better.
Poor guy!! I hope he quickly heals. (((hugs)))
