  • Saturday Morning Confessions

My Christmas Bell Wreath is still hanging on our front door. I see it when I drive up and immediately forget it once I walk inside.

My Sunday Paper sits on my porch until the next Saturday. (I only get it for the coupons) Why does it sit there? See above.

Two of my kids are up and around right now, on this fine Saturday morning. I'm making this post on my phone, in my bed.

Recently I pulled the sheets off my bed to wash them after someone had an accident in here. I have yet to replace the sheets. I don't know exactly how long I've been sleeping directly on the mattress.

I may have leftover cake for breakfast when I get up. And bacon. Cake and bacon. (And coffee)

I had some work done on my car yesterday. I asked the mechanic guy if he liked the tape holding up my bumper and he said, "Hey, if it's good enough for NASCAR . . . ". ( I <3 Arkansas)

Guess we have to buckle down and do three classrooms of Valentines this week. Not my fave.

Steven asked what I wanted for Valentines Day and I said I wanted to see the new Die Hard movie. I'm so excited.

  • Valentine seems so near and it is already mid Feb? Gosh ... was it just Christmas & New Year few weeks ago? LOL My Christmas wreath is also still hanging on the front door and my husband complaining that I am always that organize and now I leave some things be? I think I am getting too relax these days ... I mean why not? I have been a mother for the past 15 years of my life and I can have pause once awhile, or not?

    Happy Weekend, dear!

  • last year i didnt take the christmas wreath down till like maybe spring. :)      cake for breakfast? yes!!     i would hate sleeping on just the mattress! course maybe our mattress isnt as nice. :)    confessions are good!!!

  • Ah so good to know not the only one!

  • hope you have a terrific weekend

  • you're just a blast!
i confess that my Christmas wreaths are still up on my doors.
and, that i also get the Sunday paper for the coupons. mainly the coupons. i also read the obits...just in case, you know?

  • Hopefully Steven isn't upset with you writing about the accident in bed. ;)
We had doughnuts for breakfast...which soon turned out to be a mistake. I'm not sure what the waiting period is for eating doughnuts after the stomach flu, but one and a half days is NOT it.

You are hilarious Beth. Your posts are the best. =)

  • I still have a small Christmas tree up in our room--may keep it there all year

  • love your chalkboard quote :)

  • i just took my "noel" snowman off our front door lol...but it is still sitting on the kitchen counter waiting to be put away lol

  • sweet little tid bit's about you always make me smile, I love it. It's healthy and fun. Now off to write my own confession, it might take a few weeks, who knows.....;)

  • @Elizabethmarie_1 - It's all good, he never reads my blog so what he doesn't know won't hurt him, right??

@redladybug18 - No one has even noticed my chalkboard yet. Last week it said Happy Birthday Steven and I had to point it out to them that I changed it.

@jennieanne84 - I love my mattress. The top is kind of satiny??

  • @foreveranoatneygirl_n2Hisown - My mother-in-law reads the obits too, "just in case". Just in case she sees herself in there. that's what she says! LOL

  • cake is always a better option - i tried being all healthy yesterday & cooking chicken instead of eating the 17lb chocolate cake on the counter.
it was an epic fail  - i creeped myself out thinking it wasnt cooked all the way through & that made it worse
moral of my story .... eat cake.
    have a great monday!!

  • Your family is blessed to have each other and all you are doing is living life and enjoying it.  Doesn"t get any better than that.

  • That chalkboard quote is awesome ... as are you!  :)
