  • What I Love About Saturdays

Woke up whenever it happened, not when an alarm said I had to

I leisurely fixed breakfast. This is what it was, Glazed Doughnut Muffins.

    Grocery shopping with helpers.

Chasing Oliver around the house, hearing his shrieking laughter.

Dancing to music with little fellas. You wouldn't believe our awesome moves.

    Browsing Pinterest.

    Homemade lasagna for supper.

    Maybe homemade brownies too.

(can you tell I LOVE to cook when I have time??)

Watching Elijah's squaredance from school last night over and over again. Go HERE to see it.

  • Sounds like a lovely day.  I love pinterest.

  • yes - saturdays can be wonderful - if only the rest of our lives could have more of them...  keep enjoying!

  • OMG! How adorable was that! I loved them dancing and then bowing to each other and to the audience. What a delight.

I love the way you love your children. Reminds me of my daughter and daughter in law. What a joy!  Guess what? I made some brownies today also.

  • Sounds like a wonderful break from the work week

  • all that cooking is making me hungry!  Sounds like a nice productive fun day!

  • I made brownies too   Not entirely homemade.. but I added to them.  My fav brownies ever have a layer of marshmellow creme and then pb/chocolate rice krispys on top.  Yum!  Love the square dancing so fun.  Aleigh has been learning it in PE and tried to teach us all one night but she gave up on us b/c we were horrible students.  ha ha

  • @xplorrn -  I know! I need more than one Saturday a week!

@ZSA_MD - @zanyzeal - Yay for brownies. We're like a brownie club or something. Also, I forgot to point out that Elijah was the square dancer with no hat, who had an exceptionally tall partner. lol

  • mmmmm......I love me a Saturday too!  My daughter and I were just lamenting on this past one that they go way, way too fast.

Happy Monday, Beth.  I think you are amazing.  I don't know how working moms do it.

  • .... Woke up whenever it happened, not when an alarm said I had to... hehehe ...
