Wow, you are one cute looking driver. My wife has the seat much closer for the same reason. My legs are long so we are always adjusting the seat.
Hope your Monday is going well.

I'm so with you dear. About same distance for me too. Hubby has to always move the seat back when he drives. I tell him we just need to get separate cars. LOL
I thought I was short. I like cars that allow you to adjust the gas and brake pedals so you can sit at a safer distance from the steering wheel.
Yeah, I really know what you mean. The seats in today's cars are so much more adjustable. Yet I still feel like I'm right on top of the wheel. If I lift the seat to where I feel like I can really see the road then it's like driving with my toes. Oh well, I've done it for over 40 years. It's easier now that I don't have to use a clutch. AND it was nightmare at the end of my pregnancies. I felt like I needed monkey arms to reach the wheel, lol.
becareful! you're officially an LA Asian woman.
@Grannys_Place - I'm taller than someone!!! By half an inch!!!
You're beautiful. I'm 5' 3". I've heard sitting too close can cause injury if the air bag gets deployed...
@armnatmom - Me too, but I gotta reach the pedals! And, thank you!
I wish the automobile co. would think of us women. My friend has a Kie SUV I think a sportage and her hubby won't drive it cause it's too small and made for a woman. Yeah!
Lol. I'm the same way!
That is just too cute for words. You look really good looking at the camera like that.
i didn't notice how close you were to the wheel.. i noticed your ever shrinking, skinny stomach!! you're looking smokin these days bethie lou. xox
... actually, after i posted i suddenly remembered getting back in my van at the airport last year after you'd driven. haha! i couldn't even get in!!! ))
@grace_to_be - that's so funny! I never even think to move the seat back. Also I'm glad I drove your van and you are One of the few people who've had to move their seat back after I drove their car.
Most accelerator pedals will extend further. Check your car's manual.
Hmmm. I'm always moving the seat back. Waaay back. Enjoyed your "last time" entry!
I hear you. And to think I married someone who tries to push the seat back even further than it is able. Never enough room for that 6'4" frame.
You are too adorable!! My husband and I are always readjusting the seat in the vehicle too! I've got short legs too!
me too.
funny girl.... i think i would get claustraphobic so close to that wheel! guess these long legs come in handy!
me three
You're lucky. I'd rather have your height than mine.
@aSeriesofFortunateEvents - 6'. I know everyone would "love" to be tall, but I'd much rather be short. Short girls are much cuter and less intimidating. Not that I find myself or other tall girls intimidating, that's just how other people see me. ;/

@HUMOR_ME_NOW - well thanks, Frank!
@olwd - And I NEVER remember to move the seat back for anyone else. Oil change guys, mechanics, etc. you're all out of luck!
@Erika_Steele - That would be nice. I'm a little paranoid that if that airbag ever comes out I'm a goner. A broken nose at the very least!
@tkperito - YES! The pregnancy thing for sure. When I got to the end of them I would almost just rather stay home than have to cram myself in there.
@BenelliMan - that made me laugh out loud.
