Just in Case . . . .
I’m sure you’ve all heard the news, Xanga may shut down in July if they don’t raise like 60 big ones. I’d enjoy a nicer fresher format with all my xanga pals in tow, but I’m not interested in paying tons of money to make that happen at this point in my life. Just in case we get disconnected in a month or so, here’s my other blog. I get practically zero traffic over there but I’ll be around!

I have like a zillion years of stuff here on xanga, some is really a waste of time and some is really great. I dread keeping all of it and I shudder to think about losing some of it. Argh. That’s me pirate saying of the day.

I missed it. Didn’t know that about xanga. Where have I been? Are you moving all your posts over? Or chancing it?
I’m with you on this one! I’ve been writing here since 2007, a few months before my mother passed away. I’ve processed, reminisced, and vented over the years and am not looking forward to losing it all but also can’t swing payments.
@TrentTribe - No way am I moving all my posts over! I’ll probably archive and save what I had somewhere but not only do I not have time for all that, I’m not sure I want all my old posts out there for the whole world ha! Some of them were not great. Especially like the first 3 years.
I will be upset if they close down xanga
I have a ton of stuff on this site dating back to 2006… i really hope they figure other things out.
